As the calendar rolls toward January the thought of hitting the ball field again still seems far away. Its hard to believe three months have passed since the Cardinals wrapped up the season by winning their second consecutive championship. With year four on the horizon, the Brewers will continue to look for ways to improve their roster. Stay tuned throughout the winter for more developments on that front.

In the meantime, the Brewers would like to extend a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to the entire BVBL fraternity and their families. This is the best time of year to be with family and friends, so be sure to enjoy the season but also be safe while doing it.

The Brewers would like to express our best wishes to the Wilkinson family during this difficult time. We're all pulling for Terry's safe return home, and look forward to seeing him on the diamond again in 2012.
